Fiji’s long distance king, Yeshnil Karan is going for his third gold medal today in the 2023 Pacific Games.
Karan who hails from Tavua will run at 3pm today in the 3,000 metres steeplechase event.
He has already taken gold medals in the 10,000 metres and 5,000 metres events.
The former Tavua College student withdrew from the 1,500 metres event yesterday.
Karan will also take part in the half-marathon event tomorrow.
