24-year-old Kali Masibalavu who allegedly murdered a 25-year-old man outside Suva Harbour Centre on Saturday will appear in the Suva High Court on the 19th of this month.
Magistrate Jeremaia Savou rejected Masibalavu’s request to be placed in station remand as there are remand facilities.
Magistrate Savou says it is an indictable offence and the matter has been transferred to the High Court.
He adds Masibalavu can apply for bail in the High Court.
