K-9 Quake who assisted in tracking down suspects and had been instrumental in Police Operations in the West was laid to rest yesterday at the Vitogo Community Post.
Police say 3-year-old K-9 Quake passed away earlier this week after falling ill while deployed on a track finding duties.
He was transferred from Suva on the 10th of September.
Deputy Divisional Police Commander, West Superintendent of Police Pita Keni said K-9 Quake was a valuable respected member of the Policing family and had greatly assisted policing operations.
