Swire Shipping Fijian Drua rookie flanker Isoa Tuwai has been voted the fijivillage Fan Player of the Match in Saturday’s round 8 of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific clash against the Crusaders in Suva.
Though the Drua fell to their 6th loss of the season, the young Tuwai showed sheer determination in his game after getting his first start in his three outings for the Drua.
Tuwai played the whole 80 minutes and was impressive in defence as he completed 11 tackles and 2 breakdown steals.
In attack, Tuwai ran 69 metres in 10 carries and beat 4 defenders.
Meanwhile, the Drua are currently sitting at the bottom of the table with 7 points.
They will now turn their focus to the Highlanders this weekend.
The Drua will take on the Highlanders at 7.05pm Saturday at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin.
