Ireland beat the All Blacks 23-12 to claim a historic win in New Zealand and level their three-match series.

This is the first time Ireland has beaten the All blacks on New Zealand soil.

Andrew Porter scored a try in each half for Ireland who led throughout the game.

New Zealand’s disciplinary problems saw them temporarily reduced to 13 men twice in the first half.

Leicester Fainga'anuku was yellow-carded for a dangerous tackle in the first spell while Ofa Tu'ungafasi was sent to the sin-bin for tackling a player without the ball.

The All Blacks were permanently reduced to 14 men when Angus Ta'avao was shown the red card in the 31st minute.

The series will be decided in next week's winner-takes-all meeting in Wellington.

In other international test matches, Wales also beat South Africa 13-12 for the first time, England beat Australia 25-17 and France beat Japan 20-15.
