Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian says the US "must receive a response for their aggression", after it bombed three Iranian nuclear sites.

Pezeshkian says Iran will never surrender to bullying and oppression.

US President Donald Trump says the strikes took "the 'bomb' right out of their hands."

Earlier, US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth said the strikes were not about regime change - but about stopping Iran getting a nuclear weapon

In the same Pentagon update, General Dan Caine said the US dropped 14 "bunker buster" bombs in the strikes.

Meanwhile, Iran and and Israel continue to fire at each other, with Israel saying it hit dozens of military targets - the Iranian Red Crescent accuses Israel of hitting hospitals and medical centres.
