Police have today confirmed that there is an Interpol red notice out against the owner of a large warehouse and pharmaceutical chain in Fiji.
There are allegations against the man in relation to illicit drugs.
When asked by fijivillage, Police say they can confirm that the Interpol red notice was taken out against the man by an overseas law enforcement agency.
However Fiji has not received any official request for his extradition.
Fijivillage has also asked Police if the man has fled the country and whether the Interpol red notice was out before he left Fiji.
We are yet to get a response on the further questions sent to Police.
