InsideOut brings in the chill vibes with new single called 'Wele'

Fiji’s renowned band InsideOut is not slowing down any time soon in terms of releasing new songs as they have just released a new single called “Wele”.

The title of the song “Wele”, translated into English as “Chill”, is connected to the island vibes and chill vibes as explained by band leader Apakuki Nalawa, also known as KUKI.

During an interview with fijivillage News, Nalawa says the song is actually two songs stitched together and they just came up with the beat in the recording studio.

When asked about the shooting of the video, Nalawa says it is a lyric video which was shot at the Natadola Championship Golf Course.

He says the reason for it being a lyrics video is to get the fans to know the lyrics so they can sing along to it.

When asked about when will they be performing the song live in Fiji, the group says it is not going to be anytime soon.

Meanwhile, the group has been invited to perform at the Holo Holo Music Festival that will be held in Las Vegas from the 26th to the 27th of April this year and according to drummer, Bill Dautei, this is one of the biggest opportunity they have been given so far.

Dautei says they have been preparing for this performance since last year.

When asked if they are going to be dropping more new music soon, Nalawa says they definitely will be doing so.
