The SODELPA Management Board has approved the requirements of the Candidate Selection Committee who will interview and evaluate applicants for candidates for SODELPA in the 2022 election.
This was approved at its meeting at Southern Cross Hotel in Suva.
General Secretary Lenaitasi Duru says the Candidate Selection Committee will be chaired by Party Leader Viliame Gavoka.
Duru adds the board has appointed SODELPA MP Aseri Radrodro as Party Treasurer as he is a chartered accountant and auditor.
He confirms that Radrodro will not receive any remuneration as he wishes to help the Party’s financial management.
Duru further says the Board has agreed to carry out an independent appraisal from an independent Human Resources consultant to evaluate the performance of the General Secretary and the Assistant General Secretary.
