Incoming British High Commissioner to Fiji, Richard Morris has been reported missing in Bentley, Hampshire in England for 6 days.
Morris was supposed to replace outgoing High Commissioner Melanie Hopkins in July this year.
The BBC reports that police are searching a forest as part of efforts to find Morris after he left his home in Bentley, Hampshire for exercise last week.
Police say about 50 specialists are using dogs and drones to search nearby Alice Holt Forest.
Morris was the UK's ambassador to Nepal for four years until 2019.
