Minister for Education Premila Kumar says in the classrooms where 2 metres distancing cannot be followed, they will improve air circulation.
When questioned by fijivillage on how they will ensure physical distancing is followed in classrooms with 40 to 50 students, Kumar says these classrooms should have cross ventilation.
She says there are some schools that have taken classes in an open area and even used halls.
Kumar says moving students into an open area is another measure that can be taken.
