Community NGO, Ignite4Change has started a Tropical Cyclone Yasa Community Drive where they aim to assist and distribute beddings, clothes, water, sanitation and hygiene kits to the affected communities in the Kubulau District in Bua.
They are working with the Alliance for Future Generations and the Fiji Youth Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Alliance.
Ignite4Change Coordinator Broderick Mervyn says they travelled down to Kubulau and visited families in the villages of Cogea, Dawara, Namalata, Navatu and Kiobo.
He says the team also visited Lekutu Secondary School which suffered severe damage.
They also continue their community drive to the evacuees in Ahmadiyya Muslim Secondary School and Lekutu Primary School in Dreketi.
