SODELPA General Secretary Lenaitasi Duru says he will not say anything on claims being made by SODELPA MP Mosese Bulitavu and will leave it to the independent professionals that will come in to investigate.
He says the claims by Bulitavu are also with the Registrar of Political Parties Mohammed Saneem.
Duru says he has not received anything from Police about giving a statement.
He also confirms that SODELPA MP Aseri Radrodro has been appointed as the party’s National Treasurer.
Duru says SODELPA MPs Tanya Waqanika and Lynda Tabuya were not part of today’s management board meeting.
He adds only SODELPA MP and Vice President Ro Teimumu Kepa sent in her apologies and confirmed she would not be attending due to other commitments.
Duru confirms they do not know why Waqanika and Tabuya did not attend today’s meeting.
