Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School student Nirav Kumar who won two gold medals in the Coca Cola Suva Zone One at the ANZ Stadium this afternoon says he always knew he was going to win.
The year 9 student won the sub-junior boys 400 metres and 800 metres finals this afternoon.
Kumar says he was confident coming into the event and will not settle for anything less than gold at the Coco Cola Games.
He says he only thought about his parents during the events who have sacrificed a lot and always believed in him.
