McDonald’s Fiji’s Coral Coast 7s tournament director Jay Whyte hopes new talent will be discovered in this year’s tournament just like the previous years.

Whyte says players such as Semi Kunatani have gone on to represent Fiji.

Whyte says with the amount of support from the sponsors they have received this year, the entry to the tournament will be free and he says this is a great opportunity for supporters to turn up in numbers and witness word class rugby for 3 whole days.

Whyte says this year’s event will be tough and there would be upsets expected in the pool plays as far as the quality and calibre of teams participating is concerned.

The Coral Coast 7s tournament will start from this Thursday at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.
