The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s team were outclassed by New Zealand going down 31-5 in the second cup semifinal in the Hong Kong 7s.
The Black Ferns scored a total of five tries, while Ana Maria Naimasi scored the lone try for Fijiana in the dying seconds of the match.
The Fijiana 7s will now face Great Britain in the bronze final at 10.40 tonight.
New Zealand will take on Australia in the cup final at 11.40 tonight.
