Saakshi Ashlyne Goundar and Shreya Shivashna Kumar have won the Small Business Idea Competition organized by Uni Fiji’s School of Business and Economics.
Saakshi Ashlyne Goundar won gold in the adult category for her business idea, Elegant Bags Fiji while Shreya Shivashna Kumar won in the secondary school category for her business idea, Tails of Joy- Pet care services.
University of Fiji says this concept was introduced to promote the School of Business and Economics.
The winners were awarded with certificates and cash.
20 participants attended a compulsory orientation session followed by online training, after which the participants had to submit a business plan.
