A Heavy Rain Alert previously in force for Viti Levu, Yasawa, Mamanuca, Kadavu, Lau, Lomaiviti Group and nearby smaller islands has been cancelled.
The Nadi Weather Office says a trough of low pressure lies slow moving over the group which is associated with clouds and showers is expected to affect the group for the next few days.
They say localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding in low-lying areas.
