As the Suva Grammar School's 60th + 4 Diamond Jubilee Celebration continues, the school hosted an assembly for the Grammarians for them to share their stories with the students.
Olive Pickering Frebrey who attended Grammar in the 60's encouraged students to enjoy their school days with responsibility and also report any abuse that they go through.
Frebrey says this is a moment to make memories but also to maintain discipline in life that will allow students to go ahead in the future.
She also shared with the students how she and her friends loved to spend their free time swimming in the school’s pool.
Salaseini Waqavonovono Malo and Ada Elbourne Patel who were best friends from the 70's decade travelled from overseas for the celebration and said that the school taught them to be confident and outspoken on several issues.
They say the school has contributed immensely to who they are as individuals today.
Meanwhile, the 2000s gathered at Grammar to carry out a clean-up yesterday.
Amalaini Nawadradra says the 2000s decade decided to organise a clean-up day to give back to the school and give the school a fresh look after the two-week break.
Nawadradra says they have cleaned the boy's washroom and the bicycle shed area.
They also had one of the biggest kava barrels ever organized in Fiji last night.
