The Suva Grammar School Under 19 girls and boys teams have won the Secondary Schools Basketball Competition after defeating Yat Sen Secondary School in their respective finals this afternoon.
The Grammar Under 19 boys edged Yat Sen Secondary 27-26 in a close encounter while the Grammar girls dug deep to beat Yat Sen Secondary 16-4 to win the final.
In other results, Grammar girls Under 15 defeated International School Suva 24-15 while Yat Sen Secondary won the boys title after defeating Grammar 21-12.
In the Under 17, International School Suva girls edged Grammar 13-12 while Yat Sen Secondary outclassed Marist 32-19 to win the boys Under 17 title.
