A total of 223 food and essential item packs were distributed to families in home isolation and lockdown areas by the government yesterday.
This includes 97 packs for families in home isolation in Verata, Wainibokasi, Toga, Davuilevu, Koronivia, Nakasi, Narere, Wailoku and Toorak.
Around 2,068 packs have been delivered to Fijians in home isolation in Lami, Suva, Nasinu and Nausori so far.
The Ministry of Economy Data Entry Team together with the Fiji Police Force has completed the electronic registration for Fijians in isolation at the Turner House, Queen Elizabeth Drive and Muanikau.
There are 38 families in isolation at the venue for the past 9 days and they have been provided with food and essential item packs as well.
There are 152 families in home isolation in Nadi which includes Lavusa, Sabeto, Nawaka Village, Navo, Tunalia, Naqadamu Village, Namulomulo, Barara settlement, Meigunaiyah, Malolo, Korovuto, Nawaicoba, Sonaisali, Qeleloa, Kerebula and Votualevu.
Around 214 groceries and essential items packs have been delivered to these families so far.
To date, government has distributed 9630 food and essential item packs to families in targeted lockdown and home isolation.
