Government MP Rohit Sharma who is charged with Assault Causing Actual Bodily Harm has written to the FijiFirst Party.
This has been confirmed by the Party General Secretary Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum who says they will be looking into what he has written to them about and take it from there.
Sharma allegedly assaulted his 35-year-old wife during a heated argument in Davuilevu Housing.
The alleged incident took place on the 31st of last month.
The case will be called on the 13th of October for plea.
