Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s Coach, Ben Gollings has confirmed his 13 member squad for the Singapore 7s with Tevita Daugunu captaining the team for the first time.
Army halfback Filipo Bukayaro, Tabadamu’s Josevani Soro and Fire 7s rep Vuiviawa Naduvalo will be making their debut for Fiji today.
The team also consists of experienced players such as Jerry Tuwai, Waisea Nacugu, Josua Vakurunabili, Kaminieli Rasaku, Joseva Talacolo, Ioane Teba and Jeremaia Matana.
Gollings says he has a pretty good idea of the starting 7 however will look to manipulate this based on who they are playing.
Fiji will meet Ireland in their first match of the Singapore 7s at 2.22pm today.
They will then face France at 5.06pm in their second match and play Japan at 8.22pm in their final pool match.
