The Great Council of Chiefs complex is scheduled to be completed by April this year.
iTaukei Affairs Permanent Secretary, Pita Tagicakirewa says the completion of the complex means that the GCC has a building to house them.
Tagicakirewa says they will do all their business in a central location and reduce the cost on the iTaukei Trust Fund Board as it does have to pay for other venues.
He says the iTaukei Affairs Regulation 2024 is a strategic guiding document for the GCC.
The Permanent Secretary says the GCC complex will prepare the GCC to deliver on its mandate under the regulation including through community engagement.
