Fury’s dad wants him to retire after beating Wilder

Fury’s dad wants him to retire after beating Wilder

After Tyson Fury dominated Deontay Wilder on Sunday to win the WBC heavyweight title, talk quickly turned to what’s next. Is it a rematch with Wilder? A match-up with Anthony Joshua?

If it were up to Fury’s dad John, his career would be over.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain, John Fury said he wants his son to retire now.

Fury has considered it, according to his father.

John Fury says he thinks Fury has done enough and has got no more to prove.

He then went to say that Fury is 32 years old and has a young family, and his children deserve a father.
