Evolve seems the All Blacks' keyword, as they try to sort out their predictable attack that has been struggling this year.

In three of the five games this year, their attack has been suppressed by fast line speed and teams playing with a negative mindset.

The NZ side has been working on this, as they try to evolve their attack, but coach Ian Foster admits that this is difficult when teams are not playing with traditional southern hemisphere mindset.

Foster told Newstalk ZB, there was a lot of flat lines and a lot of difficulties getting fastball and this is something every team is working hard to adapt to.

He says attacking rugby is part of their DNA but clearly, they have got to get smarter in how they do that and they have got to redefine what the word attack means.

He adds that part of what they have been working on has been growing their attack through their set-pieces.

The All Blacks face Argentina at 8.45pm Saturday.
