Former Ratu Kadavulevu School Vodafone Deans winner Seru Uru will be looking forward to earning his first international test cap for the Wallabies in the upcoming Rugby Championship which kicks off this weekend.

The 27-year-old has been called into the Wallabies squad for the first time after earning a few caps for the Australian A during the 2022 Pacific Nations Campaign.

Uru played his 50th Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific match this year and his outstanding performance has now finally earned him a call-up and a potential international debut.

He will be the fourth player with links to Fiji who will represent the Wallabies this year if given a chance to play in the upcoming Rugby Championship.

The Wallabies will take on the Springboks at 4.35pm this Saturday at Suncorp Stadium.

Meanwhile, the All Blacks will host Argentina at 7.05pm Saturday in Wellington.
