Former Fiji 7s player Kitione Salawa is among the five new players who have been named for the Fijian Drua.
Other new inclusions are Flying Fijians props Manasa Saulo and Samuela Tawake and Suva locks Sorovakatikini Tuifagalele and Josefa Tamani.
Salawa was named in the Fiji 7s extended squad that was preparing for the Olympic Games this year.
27 players have been named so far and the remaining players will be revealed this week.
All players will be given a 2-year contract.
Fijian Drua Interim CEO Brian Thorburn says the vast majority of the players have come through the FRU’s development pathways and academies.
Super Rugby Pacific kicks off on February 18th next year.
