Former All Blacks centre Aaron Mauger will be assisting the Fiji Water Flying Fijians coaching panel ahead of their test against the All Blacks tomorrow in San Diego.
This was confirmed by coach Mick Byrne who says they will utilise Mauger’s intellectual brilliance as a player and coach to help them counter the All Blacks.
Byrne says Mauger is a very intelligent rugby player and he has got a good way about him, and extracts a lot of information out of the players which is great for the team.
He adds they have been doing a lot of work with players in small groups and fine-tuning their game management and the roles they will have on the field.
Fiji takes on the All Blacks at 2.30pm tomorrow at the Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego.
