Former Adi Cakobau School sprinter Laisani Moceisawana is aiming to be part of the Fijiana 7s team to the World 7s Series.

The 23-year-old is part of the training squad preparing for the Dubai 7s next month and in December.

Moceisawana's love for rugby came after the Fijiana team won the bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympic Games and she understands she can be part of the team to any tournament in the future.

She says the bronze medal victory has motivated her and many young girls to follow rugby as it can also provide opportunities like travelling overseas and representing Fiji in the World 7s Series and the Olympics.

Moceisawana adds she believes she has the fitness required but she has to work on her basic skills.

The 2017 Coca Cola Games 100 metres gold medallist is encouraging young girls to never stop trying for something they want to achieve and keep believing in themselves.
