Phil Foden scored twice to help Manchester City reclaim momentum in the Premier League title race with a hard-fought 3-2 win over Leeds United this morning.

The result moves City up to second in the table, four points behind leaders Arsenal, while it is the 6th defeat in seven top-flight matches for Leeds United.

Erling Haaland was trying for his 100th Premier League goal, Foden instead came to City's rescue with an unerring left-foot finish into the bottom left corner in stoppage time.

Meanwhile, a fired-up Sunderland team came from two goals down to beat Bournemouth 3-2 in torrential rain and go fourth in the Premier League table.

In other results, Brentford beat Burnley 3-1, while Newcastle United defeated Everton 4-1.

Arsenal is leading the table with 29 points followed by Manchester City with 25 points, Chelsea is third with 23 points and Sunderland is fourth with 22 points.
