The Fiji Water Flying Fijians has now turned its focus onto this weekend’s last Rugby World Cup warm-up match against England and is looking to improve on areas that proved too costly for them in their 34-17 loss to France yesterday.
Head coach Simon Raiwalui will try and utilise this weekend’s game against England to test out his final combinations before the RWC which kicks off next month.
During the post-match press conference after yesterday’s match against France, Raiwalui says they will just need to polish up a few things that they have been working on, especially their set pieces.
He says the boys played well considering the fact that France has been doing really well this year but they just need to tune things a bit and get their focus right on the task at hand.
The Flying Fijians will head to Twickenham this week to play England this Sunday at 2.15am.
They will then head back to France to prepare for the RWC.
Fiji's first RWC pool match will be against Wales at 7am Monday the 11th of next month.
