A Flash Flood Alert remains in force for all flash flood prone areas, small streams and low lying areas of Viti Levu while a Flash Flood Alert previously in force for flood prone areas adjacent to and downstream of Ba and Waimanu Rivers is now cancelled.
The Nadi Weather Office says a trough of low pressure remains slow moving over Fiji.
They say associated clouds and showers continue to affect most parts of the country till this weekend.
They add a moist Northwesterly to Southeasterly wind flow prevails over Fiji associated with heavy rain while isolated thunderstorms are expected this afternoon or evening.
