The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s have defeated Japan 35-7 in the fifth-place semi-final of the HSBC Sydney 7s.
Former Gospel High School student, Younis Bese and Lavena Cavuru scored a double, while Ana Maria Naimasi and Talei Wilson scored a try each.
Fijiana will meet Australia at 6.22 tonight in the fifth-place playoff.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s side will face South Africa at 5.26 this afternoon in the second cup semi-finals.
