The FijiFirst Party has claimed that there is hardly any turnout at consultations by the newly appointed Fiscal Review Committee while Minister for Finance Professor Biman Prasad says the Committee has been receiving a lot of direct submissions which is encouraging.
In a facebook post, the FijiFirst claims that some locations had an attendance of zero.
They say they have been told that now family, friends and party supporters are being asked to attend to make the numbers.
It adds that apart from providing any actual solutions, Professor Prasad is busy creating further committees and blaming the previous government.
They say Prasad and his 3 uneven legged stool government don't have any ideas.
While responding to the FijiFirst, Professor Prasad says FijiFirst people know very well how they used to get people to their consultations.
Professor Prasad says the committee has made a tour around the country to meet the people and see those that they could but have encouraged people to send submissions directly.
