Fiji to face Solomon Islands in its first OFC Beach Soccer Nations Cup at 2pm today in Tahiti.
Veteran goalkeeper, Simione Tamanisau, will lead the Digicel National side.
Tamanisau says playing beach soccer is a challenge as it requires different techniques for delivering the ball, however the team has been training well to improve their game.
He says they aim to leave an expression that Fiji is also a powerhouse in beach soccer.
He adds that the team is excited and ready for its first match.
