The Fiji Beach Volleyball team departed for Auckland this morning to participate in the Continental Cup.
Fiji will be represented by 2 Men’s and 2 Women’s teams.
Wayne Fisher and Sairusi Cavula are Team 1 while Filimoni Serevi and Vilimone Rokomurimuri are in Team 2.
The Women's team is made up of Gloria Taylor and Teupola Uluilakeba in team 1 and Vunisei Lua and Talica Rowaro in team 2.
The teams are coached by Apenisa Saukuru.
This tournament will also feature teams like New Zealand, Australia, Tuvalu, Solomon Island and Samoa.
The Continental Cup will be used as the first round of qualification for teams wanting to make Olympic qualification.
