Fiji Women’s Tennis Team wins silver in Pacific Mini Games

Josephine Grace Debalevu, Ruby Coffin and Saoirse Breen created history bagging their first silver medal for Team Fiji in Women’s Tennis at the 2022 Pacific Mini Games in Saipan.

Breen and Coffin led a courageous fight in the finals going down to Papua New Guinea 2-0.

Fiji defeated Tonga Women 2-1 in the semi-finals. Earlier, Fiji Women’s Tennis defeated Solomon Islands women 3-0, Tahiti Women. 2-1 and Northern Mariana Islands Women 3-0 in their matches.

Meanwhile, Fiji Tennis will take a lot of positives from this as they start the singles competition from today.

Fiji Men's Tennis players William O’Connell and Sebastian Tikaram lost to Northern Mariana Islands in the semifinals and then went down to Tahiti in the Bronze medal playoff.
