Fiji Taxi Association General Secretary Ashwin Lal is calling on all taxi drivers to get vaccinated so that the country moves forward.
Lal says we all need to play our part to help the Health Ministry and the government in trying to stop the spread of COVID-19.
He says he has been fully vaccinated and he has not had any side effects.
Lal also called on those who are sharing fake information about the vaccine to stop.
He says everyone needs to play their part in getting vaccinated especially those travelling by public transportation as they can easliy contract the virus.
The Health Ministry’s target is to get 587,641 Fijians fully vaccinated.
