Vodafone Fiji Bati coach Joe Rabele is confident that they have the quality of players to go one step up in this year’s Rugby League World Cup from where they left off in the 2017 tournament.

The Fiji Bati finished in fourth place after losing to Australia 54-6 in the semi finals.

Rabele says they still have Apisai Koroisau’s name in their squad but will wish him well should he be selected for the Kangaroos.

Meanwhile Vodafone Fiji has announced the renewal of its sponsorship with the Fiji National Rugby League for the next 3 years.

FNRL Chairman, Viliame Naupoto says this is a huge boost to the Fiji Bati campaign.

Naupoto also thanked Vodafone for their long standing commitment dating back to 2006.

Vodafone Fiji Chief Marketing Officer, Rajnesh Prasad says they have stood by FNRL over the years and never wavered in providing support from grassroots development levels to the international arena.

The Rugby League World Cup will be held in England from October to November.
