Fiji Airways lawyer, Devanesh Sharma has filed a strike out application in the case of former Fiji Airways cabin crew whose contracts were terminated in May this year as part of the COVID-19 cost-cutting exercise.
A total of 245 former Fiji Airways cabin crew have taken the matter before the Employment Relations Tribunal.
They are saying they have been unfairly dismissed and have filed for redress.
They are represented by lawyer, Jon Apted.
The matter will now be called on the 16th of next month in Suva.
