50-year-old, Ajay Kumar and his 25-year-old son, Ashneel Kumar from Tavua have been remanded in custody by the Lautoka Magistrates Court for allegedly causing the death of 39 year old Saleshni Devi in Lautoka last month.
Police say the two are alleged to have murdered Devi whose body was found at Teidamu Hills on September 16th.
They are each charged with one count of murder.
Their case has been transferred to the Lautoka High Court which will be called on the 27th of this month.
