The Waidra Bridge on Baulevu Road and Koronivia Bridge along Koronivia Road in Nausori will be closed for emergency deck replacement work from 11pm this Friday to 4am Saturday.
The Fiji Roads Authority says this is a planned closure that allows their contractors to carry out bridge deck repair works on both Waidra and Koronivia Bridge during curfew hours, however, they will have a standby vehicles on both sides strictly for emergency events only.
They say there is no alternate route available at both these areas and they are asking travellers to take this road closure notice into account when finalising their travel plans.
