The Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption has confirmed that it is yet to conclude its investigation into eight Opposition MPs and one government MP for allegedly breaching eligibility requirements for travel and accommodation allowances.
In response to questions by Fijivillage, FICAC says investigations are ongoing.
FICAC says the nature of the complaint alleges that these MPs claimed travel and accommodation allowances they were not entitled to.
It says that once all the relevant evidence is collated and analysed, a decision will be made and necessary action taken, should it be required.
