Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says the Fijian Elections Office has requested around $34.9 million to conduct the 2022 General Elections.
He told parliament the FEO has requested $20 million for preparatory costs and $14.9 million for Election Day itself through their 2021-2022 budget submission.
Sayed-Khaiyum adds the 2022 General Elections can take place on any date between 9th July 2022 to 9th January 2023.
