Extra Supermarket has today announced that it will open a supermarket at Damodar City Labasa.
Extra Supermarket Director Kavishay Abhimannu says they are investing $6 million in building the supermarket and they will employ 120 people.
Abhimannu says opening Extra Supermarket in Labasa will bring the people of Labasa international shopping experience.
Meanwhile, Div Damodar of Damodar Group says Phase 1 of the Centre consists of the supermarket, 19 retail shops, and 3 fine dining restaurants which will be opened in September this year.
Damodar says Phase 2 which is the Cinema and Food Court with more retail stores is expected to be completed as well this year.
While Phase 3 is expected to be a 40-room hotel with a conference facility, and the construction is expected to start next month.
