People can expect heavy rain until tomorrow and this may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas.
The Nadi Weather Office says a trough of low pressure lies over the eastern parts of Fiji.
They say associated cloud, showers and rain are expected to affect the eastern parts of the group until later tomorrow.
People can expect heavy rain over Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Lau and Lomaiviti groups, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands.
There will also be occasional showers with isolated heavy rain over Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands.
