Attorney General Siromi Turaga has called on members of the Lomaiviti Provincial Council to ensure that good teachings are being conducted in a household to prevent a disastrous future for Fiji.
While speaking at the Lomaiviti Provincial Council Meeting at Studio 6, Turaga says youths are the future generation of Fiji, and if they do not prepare themselves and teach the young, Fiji will have a disastrous future.
He says what the Sub Divisional Medical Officer of Nadi said during their consultations was an eye-opener for him.
Turaga says many pregnant women do not get tested during their 9-month pregnancy period, and it has also been noticed that a lot of sick children being checked at the hospital is due to eating less food, but the mothers look very healthy.
He adds that a lot of cases in the hospitals are of child burns, which he said reflects the teaching at home.
The Attorney General also assures the people of Lomaiviti that the government is here to serve them, and they should not be easily shaken by the information circulating on social media that is trying to destabilise the government.
