It was an emotional moment for Wallabies and Queensland Reds star Filipo Daugunu as he received his 50th game jersey from aunt and VitiFM Content Director Litia Daugunu.
Before Litia surprised her nephew during the jersey presentation, the Reds celebrated the milestone with a video message from Filipo’s family back in Fiji.
The video features well wishes from Filipo’s dad, sister, cousins and other family members.
Litia's surprise visit was made possible through the Australian Department of Home Affairs, Fiji Rugby Union and Queensland Rugby Union.
Litia says Filipo’s achievement means so much to the family.
She says Filipo lost his mum when he was young and family means everything to him.
The Reds will play the Brumbies at 8.45 tonight.
