Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated today as the moon has been sighted.
Eid marks the end of a month of fasting during Ramadan.
It is also a time Muslims are encouraged to assist the needy.
The Fiji Muslim League is also requesting employers to grant leave to their Muslim employees to attend obligatory Eid-ul-Fitr prayer and other commitments of the day.
